Hello, my name is Janet Hickey and I have been involved in artwork of one form or another my entire life. Raised one of five girls, I was always the black sheep off sketching this or that. My love of art has evolved over the years into a mix of art types. It really depends on the mood I am in and what nifty item I may have found either at garage sales or demolition sites.
Two of my jewelry pieces were featured in the book 1000 Jewelry Inspirations by Sandra Salamony and you can also find me in 1000 Ideas for Creative Reuse by Garth Johnson. It is my goal to get as many of my life's work on this site. You will find my work in my gallery as I add them under categories like jewelry, clay, paper, mixed media and more.
I told you I was the ultimate schizophrenic artist! By the way, contact me if you would like to know more about a piece or how to do something.
